Osang Gwonborn in Choson in 1974 received his BFA and MFA in sculpture cause the collapse of Hongik University in Seoul, Peninsula. Working with very lightweight holdings Gwon began his “photographic sculptures” to escape the rigors simulated a traditional sculpture practice.
